So in the previous iteration of the site there were plans to add SceneID integration (https://id.scene.org/docs) which I'd imagine make the login easier for 80% of the people using the site - the current social logins are mostly obsolete. There's already an API key for "Nectarine" (back when it was scenemusic.net) so I can still provide support if someone is interested in picking up that thread. |

Personally I would like this. I use SceneID to log in to DemoZoo (and maybe Pouet although I haven't touched that for years). Anything that avoids having yet another password...

One more thing to note that since AFAIK Necta is running on Django, it could be useful to take a look at the solution I did for Demozoo (which is also Django): https://github.com/demozoo/demozoo/pull/229
