back when i used to mess around with 1990s MIDISoft Studio, i was always so disappointed with the percussion -- i know i'm not complaining about midi, but about the sound set you got with Windows 95. "gunshot" was the only hard percussion!

let me know, lemo, i can't imagine how much is lost from MIDI in 3-channel AY with no "instruments"... (there's an ay2midi out there too, which is implausible for quite different reasons)

You will, however, make some unnecessary work perhaps as you could aswell release the tune from DAW
