i guess it is about the realtime changes vithin .sid code itself should be allowed by vsid (or any other emu)

lemo, i'd guess once the emulated c64 environment is properly set (and flawless emulation) it should playback all SIDs no doubt. then ut's uust howvto change the SID revision per tune

Ah yes. 2nd reality is actually player bug in Vsid. USBSID-Pico playes exactly what player instructs. It's same way borked with reSID.

since it shortly plays it correctly, then the wholevtune gets garbled. Could be timing issue. Real c64:env in vsid in use? But could be piconissue: Does psid64 of the .sid play it correctly in Vice, output: usbsid, then versus normal 8580 (or 6581) emul.?
