Suspend was founded in 1997, so we have been active for seven years so far. 1998 was our golden age, with twelve releases produced by Suspend members during that year. At that time, Pointman was the most active coder. He released well known Polish intros like Front Page and Back Page, which were intros of the week in Demojournal#26 and Demojournal#33, respectively. 1999 year was also a good one for us, despite only 2 quality productions were released - Back Page (64k intro) and Robomatiks (demo). By the end of 1999 Suspend entered long period of inactivity, which ended in 2001. There were no productions released by group during that time. A few old members left the group and a few new ones joined during the inactivity period. Interesting enough, Suspend still held good position in the charts, even having been idle for almost two years (Measure Magazine (a charts mag from those times) placed Suspend the 3rd group in Poland). In 2001, we made a comeback with Antropology demo. 2002 brought us two more demos - The S and Tangle. The S was nominated by scene.org for 'Breakthrough performance' award of 2002. In 2003, we won Abstract 2k+3 with Mechanical Dreams demo.
