Platform - SN76489 (BBC Micro, Master System etc.)
Texas Instruments SN76489 sound chip, originally created for the TI-99/4 computer in 1981. Used by the BBC Micro, IBM PCjr, Sega Master System, Sega Game Gear, Sega Megadrive (as a secondary sound chip), and Tandy 1000 (as a cloned version, the NCR 8496).
