yes, a lot of USA sites wholesale block out "not-the-USA". much easier to follow international laws that way. sad.

a lot of US restaurants have blocked the UK for years, oddly enough, that's because of the GDPR laws from 2019 or so

WP and itch.io not blocked here. i found that a TV transcripts site was blocked, annoying as i wanted to read a script!
