i'lll take MO3 over NES any time
mirrorbird(09:42:25)
zoi: i've got time dude. (careful what you say, <o> <o> )
mirrorbird(09:42:13)
it's also not a cool format you can do as a retro thing. because it's just uhh anticipatory zip
zoi(09:42:11)
I'd tell you all about it, but it'd be like a seven line rant
lemonade(09:41:41)
Indeed, no-one now cares about tracker like MO3
mirrorbird(09:41:22)
it is dumb though. here's zoi, i have come to trust zoi on audio, was MO3 always shit? <zoi> it was good for 2 weeks
lemonade(09:41:09)
Nevermind according to wikipedia it does offer lossless
mirrorbird(09:40:46)
MO3 made sense for about 3 years, the sweet spot between expensive encoding, and mass storage, i guess. certainly you get an XM file that's huge because of one stupid voice sample
lemonade(09:40:09)
IIRC it does not offer lossless samples
