Also this is one a very good example, layering digital sounds with the good quality analog SID voices accompanied. Can be easily heard in this one. Also some other Pro mixing methods. Think about it, if we hurried up, these playback methods already in early 2000's. Actually The very first SID tunes actually did some experimantal high speed SID manipulation before the games and demos requirement being stuck on fixed (vsync based) speeds, usually 50 fps on PAL and 60 fps NTSC as we know it oldskool SID music So, theoretically this could been suggested method in early 1980's already.
