opposite case: when did you see a film and think "this film kinda sucks but the music is great?" -- my childhood case would be Legend (the one with the unicorns). i know there were different versions, i think there may have been music issues there

my fav serpent song is probably his NeverEnding Story cover, it's such an awful thing to say "i mostly love your cover", but man, it's a good cover

I love them both.... Listened more to Vangelis in my life time. But did see J-M Jarre live once when he did a show in my hometown Göteborg, about the time when he realesed Oxygene 9.

J-M Jarre did more "electronic" sounding music in that period, but Vangelis sounded more "natural" or orchestral/ambient, but still electronic. Hard to describe...

if i didn't know who had scored Blade Runner i would of course have assumed J M Jarre

hi prowler. another for "our generation", the ET "bicycle" theme is a classic, i can't say i catch myself humming it, but it's unforgettable.

A real EPIC theme is Vangelis work for Blade Runner. Still world class work, better than anything I've heard so far.
