Because the different version's configuration can break another aswell as editing a tuna in wrong version can break the project, i made launcher scripts which allows you have multiple versions of lmms using an appropriate config file

1.2.2 ended in2016 or so, iirc. Btw i used appimages only, no hassle
Agemixer(03:49:37)
i made that 9pm tune with 1.2.2 actually, they managed to broke the SID and some other vst's in 1.3 and even more with nightlys, somehow. Garbled sound.. coding something like LMMS, not easy... i almost jumped into deving but oh no C++ quirkies
silencer(03:45:50)
but I haven't opened it in a long time
silencer(03:45:25)
ah no, it's in the official repo, so it's up to date, go figure

I have lmms 1.2.2-24, is that old?
Agemixer(03:26:46)
the Earscratch tune is also LMMS, the drums are tad mangled of the bundled samples, all other sounds i made with Zyn from scratch with earlier nightly.. now i guess it is a joy to use
Agemixer(03:20:31)
full vst support still pending for 1.3 stable version but meantime, most vst's work through vestige (bundled) or Carla.. LOMM multiband compressor, slicert added, better UI, Zyn etc runs way faster, tad better UI, ghost notes, and still not bloated

Those at the website are super old, the devs focused for nightlys for years.. which is now way better. Finally a sample track recording feature, too Can finally compare to paid daws and it is still easy. Much better mixer and some added tools are ace

I have not, no, I probably have a super old version
