trademark doesn't require much 'creativity', but it stops me selling my music as Genuine Music Made by Rapture, when you already took that name.

Rap: they serve different purposes. copyright generally protects something you built from hard work, like a painted picture, or a composed song, or program code

star fox in america, star WING in Germany or Europe. strange, name right probs, shrugs
Rapture(23:42:54)
I thought in kids times, present (plural) is LESS worth than "presents" (singular) haha. funny bit of childhood remembrance.
Rapture(23:42:36)
on C64 I was bemused when in intro of game stood "blabla software present ..." instead of presents
Rapture(23:41:50)
i wonder why copyright and trademark, R, TM etc was invented when it can get complicated anyway.
Rapture(23:40:53)
it's complicated even for the original devs, it was sold, re-sold, whatever, nobody knows who owns it now or who has the rights or whatever. complicated stuff, yo.
Rapture(23:40:26)
ah, yes it is also hard to get Turrican rights

Pink Panther was another -- because they would license the character for x years, and after that, who owns it? well Gremlin has the copyright, but the studio has the trademark, it gets so messy.
