now it only needs a "start sampling" line, one write and ldx CIA_counter , lda real_sample_LUT,x
Agemixer(05:05:02)
Then the curved sample can be read from CIA counter register (delay of cycles), and linearized by this reading the real sample amplituee from lookup table once. Voila'
Agemixer(05:03:00)
the reach signal is given back to c64 userport line which tells the CIA counter to just stop counting (1MHz resolution)

RC circuit reference signal (resetable), and line input just to opamp input.. gives out a logarithmic curve delay before the result gives "reached"
Agemixer(04:57:24)
i was thinking of opamp giving a difference between input and ref signals, but it still gives analog result...
Agemixer(04:55:44)
that would make wense and one RC circuit would do that thing pretty much, rising from 0v to 5v
Agemixer(04:54:14)
plus what if we leave the comparison for opamp or two for one (mono) signal instead of anything digital?
Agemixer(04:53:20)
but what if... 6526 timer? how? hmmz
Agemixer(04:52:41)
what if the input signal is approximated with multi-opamp chips? No.. too rough, gains only few bits and all that calibration and the component values.. still complex
