one is fully 3d printed. controller board, radio receiver, video transmitter and speed controllers. you can buy that stuff off the shelf

i've only "droned" once, a guy at the university had one, he let me control it for about 10 seconds, but he was paranoid that i would smash his expensive drone into a building or something (also we were near a river)
