C and C++ had kinda similiar feature too... except not as flexible as assembly lang can gets. But: "Currying" made easy this way.

i once made a new "bzzzcode" for a bee-part of Atl eemo, replacing all assembly with macro code only, macros generating the actual compiled assembly. in compile time, i practically compiled those macros only

and actually i have done little stuff like that... you bet, it eases up the most tedious work and rework on assembly (and then you need to fix dome bug and add more code...)

yeah, why trying to do it handmade as those calculations can be done algorithmically (to produce sufficient code, on demand)
