Additional Information:

"'Et liv' (A Life) was a tune I did for my friend Josefine's short-film for the competition Close-Up 2000. It is a very ambient film about a young writer struggling to get to grips with his needs and loneliness in life. The music was inspired mainly by Thomas Newman's 'American Beauty' and is very much like its movie, lowkey and atmospheric. Piano is the dominating instrument along with synth backgrounds. It was very exciting for me to do for two reasons mainly (besides the fact that I love doing music for pictures): 1) It had to be done very fast - I had less than 48 hours to do more than 6 minutes of music, and 2) It is the first time I wrote anything with a real human voice in it! I had to do a small 'operatic' peace for a keyscene in the film, and the star of the movie, Jens Bryggman, knew a Norwegian opera singer, Eir Inderhaug, who is featured here - thanks a lot, Eir!"

Good news from Melomaniac (props Punqtured for asking):

QUOTE
He can't remember for sure, what the track was for, but as far as he remembers, it was used in a short-film or film-project. He hasn't got the tune himself, but said that if anyone were to find it somewhere, it was cool with him to spread it and put it online here or anywhere you wanted.
END QUOTE

So, it's free for distribution!

Time is possible's only limit

Just heard it for the first time and I have to disagree with you, Elrinth. It's definately closer to the theme from American Beauty. None the less, it's still an excellent tune with a great mood and sound. Nicely produced and with awesome sounds.

I swapped the file for the original mp3, which I still had. the mp3 tag for this song is "Close-Up 2000"

9 millenia,

Totally awesome. Reminds me a little of the all-time master Vangelis
