on the bbc micro, you don't save the run into the program, but you decide when you load it, you can either LOAD or CHAIN (which is LOAD+RUN), hmmm, it's just different thinking.

for example on the speccy you choose this when you save. SAVE "blah" will make a program that just loads, and you have to type RUN. but SAVE "blah" LINE 3 will run from line 3 when loaded -- etc.
