i'm (thinking about) writing a book, a sort of satirical book on writing extreme high-performance BASIC (with various ROM hacks etc), but more kinda tongue-in-cheek thing, ahaha, i know what i want to write.

i dunno if you had those series like our Usborne Books, where there would be a story/plot through the whole book, with program listings interspersed? so you'd read a chapter, then crack a code or something.

yeah i remember the library having type-in books. there was a program that drew skyscrapers of random heights (?), was it one of those Manhattan skyline bomber games? anyway i changed it to copyright signs and it looked ACE
