Additional Information:
A cheery little chip/bitpop number that has a repetitive, happy sounding main theme, and a slightly jarring, syncopated lead in the change section to the opposite beat of the main part... anyway, I like it.

This guy makes weird tunes. I get the feeling that atonal, "abstract tunes" are his thing, but unfortunately, completely ignoring the rules of music composition always results in musical gibberish, just like completely ignoring the rules of sentence construction when writing a story results in unreadable, unfun word salad. Atonal music only works when carried to an extreme, like (arguably) some of Krotan's tunes. Krotan's stuff is totally off the wall and he is obviously doing something completely different from what music composers are meant to do. But Mr Abstract's tunes, by contrast, give one the impression that he doesn't know how to construct a proper melody, harmony, beat, or bassline, but I think he does...he just thinks this way is better. |
