The spoken-word part is quite closely based on a passage in the Marvel comic book "Weirdworld: Warriors of the Shadow Realm" by Doug Moench, but this has nothing to do with Tolkien or Rivendell. What's the story?

Tolkien tag is just used to gather anything related to Tolkien in the title (or in the song itself but i haven't heard such).
