no EQ/treble effect on the stereo bus or else the whole mix is affected. Some say no compressor on master bus, but I use it, mine sounds greatk. and limiter. nothing else.

No muddy mix this way. And on some lead instruments that have to shine I added some tape/saturator effect for more clarity. It's quite a lot of work, but once you made it you can re-use the cubase template for future use.

zoner thanks! Well, I made sure that really *only* the kick and bass have low frequencies (and don't do much EQ on them), and the other instrument tracks cut around 300-500hz (0-500hz no signal, only 500 and up). So every instrument has exactly it's place
