since it shortly plays it correctly, then the wholevtune gets garbled. Could be timing issue. Real c64:env in vsid in use? But could be piconissue: Does psid64 of the .sid play it correctly in Vice, output: usbsid, then versus normal 8580 (or 6581) emul.?

About that 2ndreality sample fookup, could it be it sends failed values of samples and usbsid cannot deal with it. Just my guess
