I've had most success with BT 5.0

I have like 5 or 6 different bluetooth adapters and only one of them seems to be working 100% all the rest are between 50 - 95%

Yep, and bluetooth in linux can be very buggy, depending on what drivers you have

Distance information too, modes for high quality for listening or 2-direction mode for microphone but was it mono only, less sound quality, emphasis on speech area... iirc it can be forced and was there a stay-alive setting. That might be the culprit

but managed some BT tweaks with Linux Blueman (iirc) and tailing some logs what's going on, otherwise BT would be mystery for me. It has several versions and communication modes, BT power and stuff

juN i've managed to get the BT into some unrecoverable state with windows.. and by no means couldn't debug, tried everything but en vain osaa

Any ideas? And can't even buy a new phone, cause of that

Yeah and modern phones doesn't have even a plug jack, only bluetooth... and this phone 3.5mm is tad incompatible with all my headphones
