wwhat did you like that midi interface vide today Stinsen?
juN3bula(00:12:21)
sure its normal to think they are the same its sma machine afterall
Agemixer(00:11:57)
Yeah 6581 gives out more filter frequency spread by nature
Stinsen(00:11:43)
maximum resonance can be really scary with low filter cutoff
Agemixer(00:11:11)
i tended to use maximum resonance on most tunes But i didn't check out with other chips at that time (at all)
Stinsen(00:10:44)
Ah ok, i always felt like has favoring 6581 though
Agemixer(00:09:15)
Jeff usually didn't use way too much resonance on filtered sounds so they sound more of the same on 6581 / 8580, and biased on very low or very high values so they weren't much wrong as if they were on normal speech-hearing area
Agemixer(00:06:06)
but there are several 6581's, mostly the same characteristics except the filter caps make on motherboard makes a huge difference against each mbrd revision
Stinsen(00:05:56)
or jeff, but he is a sound nerd xD
Stinsen(00:05:30)
i agree though, those who can handle (like MoN) do really well with it
