Thank you mirrorbird for your excellent work! We added these (the alien, broken heart, and TDGC). Spiral: We are still discussing whether to add stuff like Risu, because we're worried about having people's likenesses as emoticons, at least where direct mockery is concerned. MOTU seems inoffensive but what uses are you thinking for it? (Serious question.) |

Well, I pixeled He-Man myself and did it as an addition to the animated one. We also have a couple of He-Man tunas with the classic Lukelove one as the flagship for these. Thats one reason I also made the He-Man jingle in the past.

Personally I don't like the Risu idea because it's more of a "meme" than a general-purpose thing. I mean, Risu isn't an emotion, it doesn't express much beyond "haha we both recognise this trendy picture off the Internet". It's like lolcats... Another thing: I had mentioned adding a few "platform" icons to the smileys, like (the ones I'd want to see) Atari, Amiga ball, Speccy, C64. Do we wanna do this? The plus point is that we already have at least some of those icons (you can see the C= Commodore icon under some compilations, I think I've seen Atari /|\ too). If we want 'em then I could draw any that we don't have. |

Yes, yes, we should have those! Old-old necta had a joystick icon for game music, an amiga ball for amiga tunes, and a few others. It'd be great to have some of those for oneliner. Animated amiga ball could be fun too. Personally I doubt there's any problem with just doing screengrabs from emulators and cleaning them up a bit, but hand-drawn is also possible. |

Spiral: MOTU is in, thanks for that! Risu is probably not going in, due to basically what mirrorbird expressed (sorry). For my part, I would like to add the Atari ST 'bomb' icon, which appears when the system crashes. Number of bombs indicated the nature of the error. This thing here: https://i0.wp.com/www.geekometry.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/atari_st_bomb_crash_icon_transparent_bkgrnd.png?w=500 In general I think it would be fun to have some icons like warning symbols, busy symbols, etc from the Amiga, Atari, etc OSs. |
