Of course... machines took "our" workplaces... that was feared more than 100+ years ago. The dirty and dangerous jobs mainly, which is good. But now the rest of it is at stage but anyway: we need some kind of income anyways as far as everything or

koko homman

Agermixer: luulen valitettavasti, että Ted Kaczynski tiesi tämän jo kauan aiemmin

new cyberpunk 2077 is just great though

Älä ymmärrä väärin En tod ole AI-tuotosten puolustaja

i also have maybe yet better game to be played: Kingdom come deliverance 2, i played the first one and liked it a lot

flagserpent

i go back playing cyberpunk 2077, great game nowadays

So where's the fun in creating, if you use AI for the works?

flagserpent
28 June 2025 17:36

up to you if you say that or not

flagAgemixer
28 June 2025 17:35

Sure it speeds things up but then there's almost zero of my hand print in it.

flagserpent
28 June 2025 17:35

AI is not nevessarily free

flagserpent
28 June 2025 17:34

anyone is of course free to use anything (free or hand made) for their things

flagAgemixer
28 June 2025 17:33

i still meant, the other way around. There's no fun of creating, if i used some AI for the artwork.

flagserpent
28 June 2025 17:31

and i mean if you dont have the challenge you become stupid

flagAgemixer
28 June 2025 17:31

serp: Sorry you misread.. i meant, the other way around

flagserpent
28 June 2025 17:31

it was a challenge for human mind how to make your tune

flagserpent
28 June 2025 17:29

so there was no fun earlier, without AI?

flagAgemixer
28 June 2025 17:28

But as i have said some time earlier, using those AI's as we know today, where is the fun of actual making? For many who asked, i have a question back: how would that help anyway if i have a complete tune in my mind already, ready to just go and compose?

flagserpent
28 June 2025 17:26

*use

flagserpent
28 June 2025 17:25

you cant just us AI

flagserpent
28 June 2025 17:25

if demoscene boasts up to be, to which in some countries there are UN protected status of, you can't just go and fake

flaglemonade
28 June 2025 17:25

I do agree, using it for optimization and for automatization or assistance in code and such is OK, but creating things that are visible or audible, nah...

flagAgemixer
28 June 2025 17:24

There could be, for example, a little AI that unrolls some loop code to fill up the memory, partially, and do the rest in a loop, it could be still way faster That's up to coder.

flagserpent

AI != creativity

flagAgemixer
28 June 2025 17:20

Tyat's a very good question, depends on which way the AI's were used there. And which type of AI. Hats off for them who implement some realtime AI on c64 running, like, counting cpu time or even counting cycles to create automated, optimal effects

flagserpent
28 June 2025 17:10

what do you think when at least some of the gfx has been AI created, also in those demos

flagAgemixer
28 June 2025 17:09

serp: The prod quality is just incredibly good and betterer. So are the grown demo creators now old and bettererer

flagAgemixer
28 June 2025 17:07

Some rare tunes do a short, quick fadein from zero volume, that causes a short, silent buzz instead of that nasty snap sound
